Wainui SW Digital Video Competition

Wainui SW ran a Digital Video competition in which a pupil from Roseland Community College won first prize for his film about a day in the life of West Briton deputy sports editor Rhod Mitchell. Tom's mind is made up after winning the competition. He said: "After editing the footage and finding out more about journalism, it's definitely the career for me."

Real Redruth

The Wainui SW Team are a group of year 11 friends who entered into an adult league. They are currently placed 3rd in the league.

Battle of the Bands

Wainui SW sponsored a live gig for a group of young bands from various schools.

Monster Media & Extreme Media

Wainui SW work with year 10 and 11 gifted and talented students studying a national diploma in media. They are taken out on location to gain experience of a professional media team. Events covered include British surf championships, Apollo 11 Skate team and Art exhibitions.
